On-Going - Development Meetings

 

There are currently two major redevelopment projects going on within our boundaries:

 

Hillsdale Mall - Mixed-use redevelopment (1392 housing units; 2 million+ sf new office/retail)​

 

220 W. 20th Avenue - Multi-family redevelopment (230 housing units)

 

Developers on these projects are required to host a handful of community meetings, so check you emails and snail mail for invitations from them.  Also, check social media.

Next Member Meeting - May 20th 

The Knolls Elementary School site on 42nd Avenue has been identified as a place for housing for San Mateo-Foster City School District administrators, teachers and other employees. There is an in-person evening meeting May 20th hosting Superintendent Diego Ochoa. He will be there to present the details, listen to community concerns, provide updates and answer any questions you may have.  See your newsletter for details.

BHNA Meeting Dates

​

Member Meetings are held at least 4 times annually, with those dates typically being the third Tuesday of the announced months from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.  Any variation will be noted in your newsletters.  In 2025 our goal is for in-person meetings, but from time to time we will still host meetings via Zoom when necessary.
