FEBRUARY 7TH - CITY COUNCIL 2026 GOAL SETTING MTG.

Each Council member puts forward their goals for the year. Are theirs the same as yours? Public speaking is allowed  for a short period at the start of the meeting to voice your suggested priorities. Then all priorities get voted on by the Council to see what they will focus on for the year. Meeting begins at 9 a.m. Location: College of San Mateo, 1700 West Hillsdale Blvd., College Heights Conference Room Building 10, Room 468 – (Free parking in adjacent lot.)

Q: Are the center medians on Alameda going to get replanted? When are the parking lot solar panels going in at Beresford and who is paying for that? Are plans already in the works to install bike lanes on Alameda? And what does that mean for parking/car lanes?

These are just a few questions since there are many more projects we aren’t even aware of!  Join us as we host Matt Fabry, the Director of Public Works, who will educate us about everything his department is working on in our area and around the city.

We will also update you on the outcome of the City Council meeting where it was decided up to $10 million would be spent to fix the problematic bike lane on Humboldt.

​Member Meetings are held at least 4 times annually, with those dates typically being the third Tuesday of the announced months from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.  Any variation will be noted in your newsletters.  (Note: We typically do not host meetings in August or December.)
